A cedar and glass Gifford house set deep in a private lot, newly renovated top to bottom. Three bedrooms, two baths, rented by the week.
The house sits at the far end of a deep, private lot, reached by a boardwalk through tall grass and bayberry. It's an 8-minute walk from the harbor and a 2-minute walk to the beach. The Meat Rack trailhead is right next door, for easy access to the restaurants in Cherry Grove.
Horace Gifford designed houses for the Pines that open to the trees instead of the boardwalk. This one keeps his plan: cedar walls inside and out, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass, and living spaces that run straight onto the deck. Every room looks into green.
The house was renovated throughout. The architecture stayed; the systems, kitchen, and baths are new.
One king bed and two queen beds.
